A few impressions of our trip so far.
Chicago, our first taste of the third world. Hotel was under construction and looked like a combat zone. Ordered deep-dish Pizza as a "last meal", bad choice for a hotel. Came with no napkins, no forks, no knives, and wasn't completely cut through. Raquel made 2 trips downstairs to retrieve same. At least it was very filling.
Driver to airport was very courteous and accommodating, got all passengers and luggage on his shuttle. We were concerned there would not be enough room. O'hare is a maze of gates and terminals, but he got us all safely to our various destinations.
O'hare was relatively quick, couple house before boarding. TSA was friendly to Josh and myself, though a hassle. Raquel, though, received the "royal treatment". She went last and couldn't get the stroller down (I still can't). TSA was annoyed so did a thorough pat-down of her, purse search after scanning, patted down stroller. Diaper bag was also an issue, remember to drain sippy cups and don't bring water-filled bouncy balls!
