☹The internet has been down.
π€πππWe bought motos.
ππ€π€§We've been sick.
πππWe moved.
πππππWe had no internet.
ππ―ππ We bought furniture.
π€€ππ₯π€I'm still sick.
There's a story behind each of these that I'll write later. Meanwhile interpret the emojis. Nothing seems to happen easily here, everything has its ups and downs.
Here's La Mona enjoying a fresa [strawberry] and banano licuado [smoothy] con leche [with milk] at Deli Paraiso[?] on Santander near the lake. These smoothies are delicious and nutritious, but probably not good for diabetes.
Mom enjoying her coffee.
Brother enjoying hid licuado while reading. Notice how he sucks out of the side of his mouth so the straw doesn't obstruct his vision.
My Golden Milk. Turmeric and warmed macadamia milk, not as exciting as advertised. But then, health food...
Raquel was told the proper spelling was tuc-tuc and Spanish pronunciation was tuke-tuke; but googling, tuc-tuc seems to be a name from a British company and its not pronunciation, it's parroting the sound of the 2-cycle engine: tuck-tuck-tuck...
It's after 2AM and can't sleep as sick as I have been. My mind is racing with all of the things I feel I have to do and the things I want to do. This is a partial list of planned posts, but for many of these I haven't felt good enough to take photos. Perhaps tomorrow. I'll look through my archives and see what I did take and blog about those.
Glad you are well enough to post - I check each day but know you have had all of the above emoji's and more going on. Hugs to the family!
ReplyDeleteCinnamon works to keep the insulin release from the pancreas even, so the sugar doesn't spike. Enjoy!!
ReplyDeleteI can't seem to stay well. As soon as I put in a day of service or go away for a day my sore throat and cough is back. I helped clean the assembly hall day before and the two days of up early, travel, cleaning supply scents and other stresses gave me a relapse. Being with the ones who came from all over to help clean was a blast. We even had a safety meeting. Most of us were old, but there were many who had taken days of vacation to be able to help. I found something I can do!
Miss you all sooo much! Love reading your blog. I'd like to hear something from Josh! Hear how Pana looks from his perspective. Josh . . you there?
Good to hear from you again. I've elimnated most sweets, except for fruit and the occasional drink -- hibiscus tea, limeade, and smoothies. Haven't eaten out all week since basically bedridden.
DeleteJosh hasn't been following this blog at all; doesn't have free internet, requires permission. Well have to see if we cabn change that. He would add an interesting perspective.
